How do my guests make a payment via Tap To Pay and how do they get the customer receipt?

 

Your guests can make a payment directly on your smartphone, on which we have activated Tap To Pay.

  • Click on your location and on the “€” symbol to start the payment.
  • Select the table for the payment and enter the amount.
  • Your guest can select the tip here if applicable.
  • Click on “Payment with NFC” (or “Payment with card reader”).
  • Your guest can tap their card on the back of your smartphone and enter the PIN if necessary.
  • You will immediately be shown whether the payment has been accepted (“approved”) or declined (“declined”). Please make sure that the payment has actually gone through.
  • As soon as the payment has been completed, your guest can scan the displayed QR code and receive a payment receipt at their e-mail address. 
    Please note: This is not a hospitality receipt with VAT shown, just the payment receipt.
