How do I use my AMS1?

This is how you make a payment:

• Click on the “luca Pay” symbol at the top left.
• Enter your amount and click on the green tick at the bottom right to confirm.
• Your guest can select the tip from the preset options or define their desired amount themselves.
• Your guest can now hold their card or mobile device up to the AMS1 to make the payment.
• You will immediately be shown whether the payment has been accepted (“approved”) or declined (“declined”). Please make sure that the payment has actually gone through.

This is how the guest receives the payment receipt:

• After successful payment, a green tick and “Payment accepted” will appear in the top right-hand corner.

• Click on “Customer invoice” at the bottom.
• A QR code will appear, which the guest can scan to download their payment receipt as a PDF or have it sent to them by email. 
  Please note: This is not a hospitality receipt with VAT shown, only the payment receipt.

This is how you send a z-report (daily closing) to the e-mail address stored in your luca Locations account:

• Please click on the “luca Pay” symbol and on the circled “Menu” in the top right-hand corner.
• Under “Payment overview” you will find all the payments you have made so far.
  Select your desired period for the z-report (daily closing) and click on “Create overview”, then on “Create PDF”.
• The z-report (daily closing) will be sent as a PDF to the e-mail address stored in your luca Locations account.

This is how you initiate a refund on your AMS1:

• Please click on the “luca Pay” symbol and on the circled “Menu” in the top right-hand corner.
• Under “Payment history”, select the payment you would like to refund to the guest.
• Click on the circle symbol at the bottom left.
• The payment will be refunded directly to the guest's previously used credit card (please note the bank processing time of 1 - 2 working days).
